September 4-6, 2020 • Ages 5-adult • $700 for a family of four OR $175/person
Run away to the circus and bring your whole family!
Join Circus Smirkus for fun, frolicking, and relaxation in Greensboro, deep in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom at the height of fall foliage season.
Families will tumble, juggle, and laugh together in circus classes on our green Vermont hillside. Relax in the peaceful Northeast Kingdom to close out the summer season.
Rooms, meals and all activities are included.

The 2020 Weekend Schedule
★Friday, September 4 ★
7-9 PM: Meet & Greet. Check into to Smirkus Camp and meet the other campers and Smirkus staff in the dining hall. Light refreshments (and lots of laughs) will be served.
★ Saturday, September 5 ★
8-9:30 AM: Breakfast at Smirkus Camp
10 AM: A Balancing Act: Circus classes start for the everyone in our Balance Barn where everyone will learn rola bola, wire walking and rolling globe.
12 PM: Lunch! A fun lunch in our circus-themed dining room.
2 PM: The kids will have their hands full as they take a Juggling Class in Ruby, our red and white circus tent, followed by Acrobatics.
2 PM: Grown-ups enjoy a tasting of delights from local purveyors and farmers.
3 PM: Crafting time, circus style for kids!
5 PM: Come together for Walk Like an Egyptian: Building a Pyramid Circus Style. And, so you can prove your circus abilities, we’ll have a family photo shoot so you can share the memories.
6:00 PM: Dinner
8 PM: Camp Fire! Don’t worry, we won’t forget the S’mores!
★ Sunday, September 6 ★
8-9 AM: Breakfast at Smirkus Camp
9 AM: Serious Clowning Around! This workshop is all funny business. Coach Josh Shack leads parents and kids through a clowning workshop sure to induce fits of giggles.
10:30 AM: Exhale at a final yoga class for everyone.
12:00 PM: Check Out Time. See you down the road in 2021! A bag lunch for the road is provided.

While we do not require a quarantine in advance of arrival, we will require a temperature and symptom log for the week prior to arrival at camp. Please take necessary precautions to avoid exposure to COVID-19. Circus Smirkus complies fully with the Vermont Department of Health guidelines for travel to and from Vermont, as shown at this link: https://accd.vermont.
We will also ask that each out-of-state camper complete this certificate of compliance for our files: https://accd.vermont.
Families at camp will be appropriately distanced within their familiy units. Temperature logs will be taken each day. Masks will be required in accordance with Vermont Department of Health guidelines: https://accd.
