As we approach this exciting milestone, we reflect on the traditions, history, and legacy that have shaped Circus Smirkus while looking ahead to the next 40 years of inspiring young people through the circus arts.

Circus Smirkus’ programming helps youth cultivate creativity and develop physical skills while strengthening their ability to collaborate and building self-confidence. In school residencies, at Circus Smirkus camp, and through traveling performance opportunities, Smirklings and Smirkos learn from the rich traditions of the circus while also innovating, creating, and helping shape circus’ future.
