WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT: Share the magic and keep the show on the road

Dear Friends,

What a year it’s been! Filled with thrilling performances, artistic growth, transformative experiences, and lots of mud and magic! This summer we reached 35,000 people with our Big Top Tour performance of A Midsummer Night’s Circus, welcomed 350 campers to Smirkus Camp, and brought the circus to school with our Residency program. Thank you for being part of this adventure with us – we couldn’t do it without friends like you by our side!Circus Smirkus is a unique place where young artists can find their center, push their boundaries, and discover the extraordinary within themselves. Whether defying gravity with grace on the trapeze, mastering the art of juggling, or mesmerizing audiences with contortion, our young performers are building lifelong skills that extend far beyond the big top. Smirkus teaches a vocabulary that every Smirko learns and lives by, and this year teamwork, resilience, and adaptability spoke the loudest.

This past summer many peoples’ plans changed as a result of the catastrophic flooding in Vermont. Circus Smirkus was no different. The flooding caused many challenges for our small-but-mighty organization. But, thanks to a dedicated and hardworking staff we were able to quickly react to pull vehicles out of the mud and shuffle our tour schedule around washed-out roads. Camp remained open, safe, soggy, and smiling; and across the organization, we supported one another to keep the show on the road and going strong. But trudging through the mud is taxing and requires resources.

Now more than ever, we ask for your help to ensure that Circus Smirkus can continue to weather any storm and keep the Smirkus magic alive for years to come. Help us rebuild our road to success! Your gift of any size will support the dreams and aspirations of our remarkable young artists and help share the transformative power of Smirkus with communities and audiences across New England.

We are so grateful to have you as part of our circus family. Thank you for helping us create a world where kids can dream, learn, and shine.

Sincerely,
